neophorans
n. pl. [Gr. neos, new; pherein, to carry]
(PLATYHELMINTHES: Turbellaria)
1. Individuals in which the yolk and oocytes are produced by a separate gland, or are produced in separate parts of an ovovitellarium; ectolecithal eggs; see archoophorans.
2. A former division of Turbellaria; a superorder.
